I was reading an article about Alison Storr.
She has made a profession out of personal concierge services and charges between $4,000 to $10,000/- per month for performing the duties expected out of an average home-maker.
In today’s world, we recognize the contribution made by our domestic help, our driver, our security guard, almost everybody, but no statistics ever captured the contribution of a housewife. It is well known that the economists do not not attach any value to the services provided by a house-maker/wife to the family, the elderly or the kids. The government take their contribution to the GDP as zilch. More often then not, even the family often does not appreciate them as much as they are worth. Its well known that whenever a guy works late, or is up all night taking a conference call from home, the person who suffers the most is the wife. Yet I have hardly ever heard of a employee’s wife being rewarded for the sacrifices she made for the good of the company.
In today’s job market the skills get outdated very fast, and even one year of break from the career could seriously jeopardize a woman’s prospects of being able to earn her own living. Then why do females give up their careers, their high paying jobs?
Maybe I am being naive, but i am always puzzled by the actions and the decisions of a lady.

Exactly! Do guys care? No. Eso. if your boyfriend becomes your husband, then he doesn’t give a hoot about your feelings. They know that the wife won’t leave them and go anywhere. So they start behaving so horribly… 🙁

I tell you- Indians are f’ing hypocrites. Divorce is such a taboo in our society. I wish more women would get a divorce. Only then will the husband realize that his wife CAN leave him and walk away.
Right now- what does a woman do to take revenge? Probably not cook or not talk. Big deal! If the wife doesn’t cook, then the husband can go out and eat. If she doesn’t talk, then he can go out with his friends. See?
And what if the husband were to do the same thing? The wife would be miserable… 🙁
So, Ankur, the bottomline is- you should publish more jokes that poke fun at men instead of posting jokes that poke fun at women 🙁

If a women tries to change things, she’s labeled as a nag…and the guys start avoiding them.
As long as girls go along with the flow and raise no objection…everything is fine. Boys are happier and girls only get sadder 🙁

I always believe that parents have a big role to play in messing up their girls…. they train them in such a way that they are always servile, and need a guy (parents, brother, husband, or son) to depend on and tell her what to do and what not to do.

The ones i know are quiet the opposite in most ways.
Thats what i really like clash about my sis-in-laws they can hold their ground against my bros (who are also quiet stubborn btw) it makes for awesome entertainment 😀
